Marco Bohr was born in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1978. He moved to Canada in 1999 to study Photography at Ryerson University in Toronto. During a semester at Napier University in Edinburgh, Marco photographed the No Ball Games Series which resulted in his first Solo Exhibition in 2003. After graduating he moved to Japan for one year supported by a duMaurier Grant for Emerging Artists. In 2005, Marco was part of an exhibition and publication titled reGeneration: 50 photographers of tomorrow at the Musee de l'Elysee in Lausanne. Marco continues to live and work in London after completing an MA from the Royal College of Art in 2007. In Canada he is represented by the Stephen Bulger Gallery and in the UK by Mummery+Schnelle in London.
